MERCER CO., Ill. (KWQC) - Additional arguments as part of a preliminary hearing for the Mercer County School District superintendent accused of illegally accessing students’ medical records were postponed.
On Tuesday, the state filed a motion to move the arguments for Timothy Farquer to Nov. 14, according to online court records.
In the October preliminary hearing , the state called Detective Lindsey Kenney to the stand. Where the Detective detailed a report she received stating that Farquer told a school nurse to provide him with medical records.
Two other district employees, Amberly Norton and Andrea Long are also accused of accessing students’ medical records.
In October , the two women waived their right to a preliminary hearing and pleaded not guilty. They have a pre-trial
