(WFSB) - Wind gusts brought down trees and wires on roadways across the state on Tuesday.
Channel 3’s meteorologists said a wind advisory was issued for Hartford, Tolland, and Windham counties.
Gusts were expected to range between 25 and 35 mph.
The state Department of Transportation reported that the following roads were closed:
FARMINGTON - Farmington Route 6 Colt Highway CLOSED at the Colt Highway Cutoff because of a Pole Down with wires involved. Reported Tuesday, November 4 at 9:50 am.
COLUMBIA - Columbia RT-87 Jonathan Trumbull Highway CLOSED between Cook Hill Rd and Samuel Hill Rd because of low hanging wires. Reported Tuesday, November 4 at 10:35 am.
LITCHFIELD - Litchfield US-202 Torrington Rd CLOSED between Karl St and the Bantam River because of a Tree Down. Reported Tuesd
