A man and a woman were found dead in a DeLand home on Saturday morning, the city's police department said.

Officers were responding to a home on Cape Cod Road on a report of a cardiac arrest when they were informed that two individuals "had been found unresponsive," DeLand police said.

Scott Waldron, 49, and Padmini Waldron, 47, were identified as the two individuals.

Police have not released any additional details but said the DeLand Police Department Criminal Investigations Division has assumed the investigation, and it remains active.
