Alabama State football (6-2, 4-1 SWAC) quarterback Andrew Body exited Week 10's game against Prairie View A&M (6-3, 4-1) on Saturday, Nov. 1 with a shoulder injury, and didn't return for the remainder of the game. Body was seen wearing a sling on the sidelines.

Te'Sean Smoot took over for the injured Body, guiding the Hornets to two scoring drives, enough to stave off the Panthers for a 31-28 victory.

Body entered the 2025 season overcoming a season-ending shoulder injury in Alabama State's first game of the season in 2024. Prior to the 2024 season with the Hornets, Body suffered a shoulder injury that sidelined him for 2023 in his last season with Texas Southern before he transferred to Alabama State.
