The U9 Quinte Thunderhawks Sixes Lacrosse Team made history by winning the Ontario ‘B’ Division Championship October 26th in Hamilton. It was the first time the organization won the Ontario championship for Sixes Lacrosse. The team was made up of a combination of players from two organizations, the Quinte Bayhawks and the Tyendinaga Thunderbirds, why they named the team the Thunderhawks. The players put everything they had out on the field and came out victorious. The Thunderhawks defence was the main reason they won the semifinal against Guelph Regals and championship game against Toronto Beaches.
