Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist have nipped their communication in the bud.

Ahead of the release of his memoir Golden Years: What I’ve Learned from Love, Loss, and Reality TV , the former Golden Bachelor revealed what their current chapter looks like.

"We went for many, many months after the divorce, and we didn't have any contact," Gerry told E! News' Francesca Amiker in an exclusive interview. "And about a month ago, she reached out by text and said, 'Gerry, I know your book is coming out. I really need to know what's in it. I need to know how to prepare my children, my grandchildren and so forth.'"
