SECURITY-WIDEFIELD, Colo. (KKTV) - A deputy is facing charges after allegedly assaulting his roommate.
According to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office, the alleged victim called 911 Sunday morning and told dispatchers they had just been attacked and were hiding from the suspect.
“The reporting party stated a verbal altercation with a roommate had escalated and became physical. The caller said an adult male had assaulted them, and they were hiding in a locked room for safety,” the sheriff’s office said.
When deputies got to the home on Peck Court in Security-Widefield, they said they found the victim with visible head wounds and the suspect still at the scene.
