CLEVELAND, Ohio — Northeast Ohioans heading to the polls for Election Day will enjoy a brief lull in the weather, with a calm, seasonable Tuesday on tap before conditions turn blustery and possibly wet midweek.

High pressure centered over the Ohio Valley will bring dry, pleasant weather to the region Tuesday, offering ideal conditions for voters heading out through the day. Skies will stay mostly sunny with just a few high clouds drifting in late as the high slides east toward the Mid-Atlantic, according to the National Weather Service in Cleveland .

Temperatures will be right on par for early November, with highs reaching the mid to upper 50s by afternoon. Winds will be light out of the southwest at 5 to 10 mph.
