Comedian Jon Stewart ripped President Donald Trump for hosting a “Great Gatsby”-themed party in Mar-a-Lago the night before millions of Americans lost their Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits.

Multiple news outlets reported that the gathering on Friday was themed “A little party never killed nobody” as millions of Americans prepared for their SNAP benefits to be stripped the following day amid the ongoing government shutdown. Stewart blasted Trump for the party in an expletive-laced monologue during Monday’s episode of “The Daily Show.”

Dripping with sarcasm, Stewart said that Americans expected to see images of Trump’s “concern and dedication” to those losing their SNAP benefits over the weekend. He then showed a video of Trump’s lavish “Great Gatsby”
