Hostel bar staff have accidentally exposed a woman's real location in an awkward video call when she was supposed to be working from home.

Mad Monkeys Hostel took to TikTok to share a video of the woman's conference, in which she was seen speaking to her boss from the hostel.

The white background of the budget lodging could have passed for the employee's home office if the waitstaff hadn't done the unthinkable.

As the woman was speaking, the staff handed her a drink she had ordered, which her boss unmistakably saw, in front of her camera.

As horror dawned on the woman she had been exposed for secretly working from the bar, she removed the drink from view.

"Lol, I'm working remotely, but the waiter delivered my cocktail on camera. On a Tuesday," she wrote.
