Election Day is here.
Texas voters head to the polls Tuesday, Nov. 4, to decide on 17 proposed constitutional amendments. The measures range from tax cuts and water infrastructure funding to voting rights.
There are no city races in El Paso this cycle, but several county contests appear on ballots in Horizon, Socorro, Tornillo, Vinton and Clint.
Early voting turnout in El Paso was sluggish at 4.67%, with only 24,202 of the county’s 518,387 registered voters casting ballots. With no high-profile races, Election Day turnout is expected to remain low.
