LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Kroger Company Louisville Division is taking steps to combat hunger in the community.
The grocer is launching a food drive to support Dare to Care.
Customers will have the opportunity to donate non-perishable food times at in-store donation boxes at Kroger locations in the area.
Jessica Sharp, the head of communications and public affairs, says each donation is like a neighbor helping a neighbor.
“We’re honored to partner with Dare to Care and local food pantries to make sure families in our community have access to the food they need,” she said.
In the season where food insecurity tends to be the highest, Dare to Care CEO Vincent James adds many are turning to food pantries for help.
