MAINE, USA — Thousands of Mainers are without power Tuesday as strong wind gusts move through the state.

NEWS CENTER Maine's meteorologists said gusts would top 40 miles per hour out of the northwest on Tuesday. The wind is expected to settle on Tuesday night.
