Srinagar, Nov 4: A massive fire broke out late Tuesday night in the Fateh Kadal area of Srinagar, engulfing at least two to three residential houses. Fire and Emergency Services personnel are currently engaged in a massive operation to bring the blaze under control.
According to officials, a distress call was received at the Fire and Emergency Headquarters at 11:04 PM, following which the first turnout was immediately dispatched at 11:05 PM from the Babdemb Fire Station and Fire Station Habba kadal.
Given the congested nature of the locality,
reinforcements were quickly mobilized from Headquarters, Safa Kadal, MR Gunj, and Shaheed Gunj fire stations.
