Two men accused of sexually assaulting a woman in Huron Township last week have been charged, police said.

Albert Joseph Knapp Jr., 52, of Huron Township, and Stanley James Mason, 59, of Pontiac, were arraigned Saturday in 34th District Court in Romulus, according to court records.

Both Knapp and Mason are charged with a count of first-degree criminal sexual conduct, three counts of third-degree criminal sexual conduct, and assault with intent to commit criminal sexual conduct.

A judge set bond for both defendants at $75,000 and scheduled their next court hearing for Nov. 12.

If convicted, both men face up to life in prison for first-degree criminal sexual conduct, up to 15 years for third-degree criminal sexual conduct, and up to 10 years for assault with intent to commit criminal sex
