Longtime 7News anchor Kim Khazei will be signing off at the end of the year, the station announced Tuesday.

Khazei joined the station in 1994 and currently anchors the news at 5, 6, 10, and 11 p.m. with her co-anchor Adam Williams.

“We are grateful for Kim’s dedication, and unwavering commitment,” Jimmy Rogers, WHDH-TV/WLVI-TV vice president and general manager, said in a statement. “Her presence on the anchor desk, as a trusted, reliable voice in Boston, for more than two decades, leaves an impact beyond her departure.”

The announcement highlighted a number of major stories, from Patriots’ Super Bowl wins to two royal weddings, that Khazei has covered at the station.
