A Bentley driver whose tense encounter with a group of kids on electric bikes in Pinecrest was caught on camera and went viral has been arrested, police said.
Silvia Carmen Perez, 61, was arrested early Tuesday on charges of battery and robbery by sudden snatching, an arrest report said. Miami-Dade Corrections
According to the report, the incident happened the afternoon of Oct. 18 in the area of the 10200 block of Southwest 57th Avenue.
Several kids were on electric bicycles when they said a black Bentley approached them from behind and the driver, Perez, stopped and got out and started yelling at the kids, demanding they get out of the roadway, the report said.
They complied and moved onto the bike path but Perez repositioned her Bentley perpendicular to the bike path then confronted
