On Tuesday at 1:08 p.m. a wind advisory was issued by the National Weather Service valid from Wednesday 1 p.m. until Thursday 7 a.m. for Warren, McKean, Potter, Elk and Cameron counties.

"West winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph expected," describes the weather service. "Isolated stronger gusts are possible, especially within thunderstorms that move through Wednesday afternoon and evening."

"Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result," explains the weather service. "Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects including patio furniture and holiday decorations."
