Former Vice President Dick Cheney died Monday at the age of 84. As George W. Bush's vice president, he was the architect of the post-9/11 war on terror and a leading proponent of the Iraq War, as well as Secretary of Defense during the Gulf War, Congressman from Wyoming, and White House chief of staff in the Ford administration.
