A man threatened police officers with two knives during a disturbance at a flat in Airdrie . ‌

Liam Berry, 21, of Baird Hill, East Kilbride , narrowly avoided a prison sentence this week after he admitted threatening or abusive behaviour. ‌

Airdrie Sheriff Court heard the incident happened in Robertson Street on May 17 last year, three days after he had been given bail in another case. ‌
