SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) may consider renaming an Upstate road.
A portion of Highway 29 in Greer was named after Spartanburg County ex-sheriff Chuck Wright in 2018, and the lawmakers behind it are no longer in office.
SCDOT shared the following statement:
SCDOT officials said the meeting will be held on Dec. 4.
