Srinagar, Nov 04: Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS), Soura, will prepare a white paper on food safety issues and submit it to the Jammu and Kashmir government amid rising public concerns and recent controversies over unsafe food items.

The announcement came during the Food Safety and Health Conclave, jointly organised by SKIMS Soura and Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology (SKUAST-Kashmir), which featured an in-depth panel discussion on formulating guidelines for safer food practices in the region.
