For the better part of three decades, downtown Santa Ana has been carving out a unique presence in the local art scene with its Artists Village, a collection of about 50 art galleries, anchored by the landmark Santora Building , at 207 N. Broadway.

Built in the 1920s and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the ornate, two-story cement building, designed in the Spanish Revival/Churrigueresque style, has helped support the revitalization of downtown Santa Ana as a cultural and arts destination.

As the Santora Building’s first fine arts tenant, Santa Ana College has been at the forefront of this cultural revolution, operating two galleries designed to showcase the work of prominent national and international artists and elevate the college’s reputation.
