Melbourne City have claimed a late 2-1 win over Japan's Machida Zelvia after substitute Andrew Nabbout struck deep into stoppage time to earn the Australians a second consecutive last-gasp win in the Asian Champions League Elite.
Nabbout pounced to score via the underside of the crossbar in the 94th minute to earn Aurelio Vidmar's team back-to-back wins after beating Thailand's Buriram United with a late goal in the previous round of league phase fixtures.
In Thailand Buriram United bounced back with victory over Kevin Muscat's Shanghai Port aided by a goal from former Melbourne City defender Curtis Good.
