ARLINGTON, Va. —

An unconfirmed report of a bomb threat led to a temporary ground stop at Ronald Reagan National Airport outside Washington, D.C.

Our Washington News Bureau reports the alleged threat was made on a United Airlines plane from Houston that landed at Reagan airport Tuesday morning. Advertisement

According to air traffic control audio, air traffic controllers received an unconfirmed bomb threat for the plane and asked them to move to the edge of the runway.

Passengers from that plane are being offloaded and bused to the airport terminal.

Reagan airport officials said the runway reopened at 12:50 p.m. and flights have resumed.
