PITTSBURGH ( WTAJ) -- While Steelers fans sit on pins and needles awaiting the final 90-minutes of the NFL trade deadline (4 p.m. EST) Pittsburgh offered up a less "ground breaking" move Tuesday afternoon, adding defensive back Daequan Hardy and linebacker Mark Robinson to the team's practice squad.

Hardy, a Pittsburgh native, was a sixth round pick of the Buffalo Bills in 2024. He was a special teams star at Penn State and carved out a key role in the slot late in his collegiate career. Hardy has spent his first season-plus on Buffalo's practice squad.

Mark Robinson was a former seventh round pick of the Seattle Seahawks. He has played 38 games in the NFL, starting four for the Seahawks. Robinson was with the Steelers during training camp before being let go in August.
