UTICA, NY (WUTR/WFXV/WPNY) -- The New York State Department of Transportation has announced that an East Utica road will be closed to motorists soon for road work.
The DOT announced on Tuesday, November 4, that Culver Avenue over State Route 5S in East Utica will be closed beginning on Monday, November 10, to facilitate bridge repairs.
Motorists traveling eastbound on State Route 5S to Culver Avenue are advised to follow a signed detour that will include Turner Street, Broad Street, Pitcher Street and Dwyer Avenue to Culver Avenue. Travelers going westbound from Culver Avenue will be following a signed detour in the opposite direction, but using the same roads.
