GLEN LAKE, MI --Michiganders checking their outside cameras have been surprised by a large, green “fireball” soaring across the screen.
The group Michigan Storm Chasers has been collecting footage from weather cameras showing a green light flaming out over bodies of water.
The most recent occurrence was 10:03 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 3 above Glen Lake in the southwestern Leelanau Peninsula. Resident Michele Duff Aucello shared footage from her Wyze camera.
The meteor-like light was seen across northern Michigan and in the Upper Peninsula in recent days.
