Two Louisiana parents are in custody after they were accused of killing their 2-month old infant.

The Opelousas Police Department said it arrested the mother of the infant after the 2-month-old girl was found not breathing on Oct. 25.

The infant was taken to the hospital and later pronounced dead. Police said the girl suffered serious injuries, including broken rib bones and a severed lower spine, while also showing signs of extreme dehydration and malno
