LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - The ESPN College Gameday crew and stage was officially announced by Texas Tech Athletics this afternoon.

After hosting Fox’s Big Noon Kickoff last year, Texas Tech will host College Gameday in the same location in the Green Space located west of Jones AT&T Stadium.

It’s the second time the show will be in Lubbock. The first and only other time was 17 years ago when Texas Tech upset a top-ranked Texas Longhorns team.

The show will begin at 8 a.m. and will move inside of Jones AT&T Stadium at 10 a.m. before the start of the game.

Kickoff is set for No. 9 Texas Tech and No. 8 BYU for 11 a.m. on Saturday at Jones AT&T Stadium.
