Condé Nast announced Monday that Teen Vogue will be integrated into Vogue.com, resulting in the departure of editor-in-chief Versha Sharma and additional staff layoffs.
About half of the Teen Vogue team is expected to remain with the publication as it transitions to the Vogue digital platform, the announcement said.
Chloe Malle, who was appointed as Vogue’s head of editorial content in September, will now oversee Teen Vogue as well.
“I remember when Teen Vogue launched, I read every page on the bus home from cross-country practice,” Malle said in a statement. “I loved it then and I love and respect it now and am committed to continuing and supporting its point of view and sensibility.”
