Phyllis Cure Senkirik Bible, age 87, of Early, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 2, 2025. A celebration of life will be held at Heartland Funeral Home on Friday, November 14, 2025 at 2:00 pm with internment to follow at Eastlawn Memorial Park. A visitation will be held on Thursday, November 13th from 5:00-7:00 pm at Heartland Funeral Home.

Phyllis was born August 15, 1938, in Akron Colorado to Guy and Fannie Cure, and was number 12 of 13 children. As a teenager, she worked as a waitress in a cafe in her small hometown where she met a handsome truck driver, named Doyle Senkirik from Texas. They quickly fell in love and soon married and moved to Central Texas, later settling in Early, where they raised their family. Doyle and Phyllis were married 41 years until his passing in 2006.
