The North Face is bringing the warmth of its Nuptse jackets to a new footwear collection.

Five different silhouettes feature insulation much like puffer jackets to form The North Face ’s Basecamp collection. While different forms of insulation are inspired by the Nuptse line, both the name and the utilitarian approach of the collection are informed by the Basecamp duffle, which will turn 40 years old in 2026.

The most robust of the lineup is the Base Camp WP 200, a waterproof boot with 50/50 insulation, EVA shell upper, seam seals and Vibram outsole.

Thermoball insulation is used for both the Base Camp WP mule and Base Camp Thermoball mule, the former of which is fully waterproof with an EVA shell upper and seam shells. The two mules also share a Vibram XS Trek outsole, and the latte
