ROCKLAND, Maine (WABI) - A juvenile was arrested Tuesday after firing a gun on Tillson Ave in Rockland Friday night.
According to the Rockland Police Department, during an argument over a social media post, the juvenile fired a shot in the air and pointed the gun at a young adult and a group of other juveniles present.
Rockland Police say the juvenile then fired the gun several more times near the Water Treatment Plant.
They say no one was injured during the incident.
Police say the juvenile was taken to Long Creek Youth Development Center and is facing multiple charges including felony reckless conduct with a dangerous weapon, felony criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon, and unlawful concealment of a firearm.
