CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - One person is dead and another is behind bars after a shooting Sunday inside an apartment building.

The shooting happened around 12:30 a.m. at Cuyahoga Metropolitan Housing Authority (CHMA) apartments on East 98th Street.

The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner said the victim, Faith Fortune, died of a gunshot wound to the head.

First responders pronounced the 19-year-old Tiffin woman dead on scene.

CHMA police say officers arrested a suspect, a man whose name was not released, soon after arriving on scene.

Cleveland police are handling the investigation and have not shared further details.
