The Jets made headlines in the final hours before the trade deadline wrapped up on Tuesday, as they sent cornerback Sauce Gardner to the Indianapolis Colts and traded defensive tackle Quinnen Williams to the Dallas Cowboys.

With New York clearly in rebuild mode, star running back Breece Hall isn’t too keen on sticking around for this transition.

NFL insider Jordan Schultz reported on Tuesday that Hall wanted to be traded.

Hall is in the final year of his four-year, $9 million contract and could be an upgrade for many teams, including the Patriots.

The Athletic’s Dianna Russin reported on Tuesday that the Jets are seeking a third-round pick in return for Hall. She also noted that no team has yet agreed to meet New York’s asking price.
