Because a similar motion by North-Kent Coun. Rhonda Jubenville failed in July 2024, Finn’s motion required two-thirds of council to vote to reconsider.
But the motion to reconsider failed 11-6 — one vote short of the 12 votes needed — with one councillor absent.
