CALDWELL, Idaho — The Caldwell Police Department (CPD) is seeking additional information after a hit-and-run incident reportedly injured several people.

Police this week said the crash occurred near the intersection of Ustick Road and Cleveland Boulevard around 7:15 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 30.

A black Nissan Versa was going east on Ustick Road when it rear-ended a white Kia Soul, forcing the Kia to "lunge forward" more than 100 feet, according to Caldwell Police .

The male driver and male passenger of the Nissan Versa then took off running, headed west on Ustick Road.

All passengers of the Kia were taken to the hospital for injuries. Three of those passengers were children.

Caldwell Police are investigating the crash as a felony hit-and-run due to the injuries of the Kia passengers.
