U.S. - Nick Cannon has stepped down from his position as host of The Masked Singer , saying he doesn't know how to judge someone's singing voice without first seeing the color of their skin. The move comes just days after Cannon totally owned white people on his podcast, calling them "sick animals," and "rotten little mountain people."

"The idea of this show -- that someone's appearance doesn't matter -- goes against everything I believe."

"I can't do this job no more," Cannon explained on his podcast. "If I can't see the person's skin, how am I supposed to figure out how to treat them? And how can I trust the judges? I quit. Right now. I'm done."
