On Tuesday at 1:06 p.m. the National Weather Service issued a high surf advisory valid for Thursday between 4 a.m. and 7 p.m. for Central Coast of Oregon.
"Large waves and hazardous surf conditions. Breakers up to 25 - 30 feet," can be anticipated according to the weather service. "Sneaker waves are also possible due to high waves and long period energetic periods. Caution should be used when in or near the water. Always keep an eye on the waves, and be especially watchful of children and pets."
