Shift work employees who work in downtown St. Augustine will soon have the chance for designated parking.
Applications open on Wednesday for permanent workforce parking permits for businesses and employees working downtown.
The city’s Mobility and Parking Enforcement Division said the focus for the permits is on the service industry and hospitality service providers.
Business owners, managers, or an authorized appointee can apply for a one-year workforce parking permit for a minimum of five spaces per business in the Toques Lot, located at 27 Toques Place.
Businesses and individuals may apply for a permanent workforce parking permit for the Granada Lot, located at 78 Bridge St., or for seasonal parking at the Flagler College Parking Garage (Flagler Garage), located on Malaga Street, av
