Police are hoping the public will come forward and provide new details on a reported assault involving Nashville singer-songwriter Todd Snider before a Utah concert.
South Salt Lake Police confirmed Nov. 4 that officers were dispatched on a report of an "alleged assault" at the Commonwealth Room involving Snider. He was scheduled to play the venue Nov. 1, but the show was called off hours before it was set to occur.
"At this time, the exact location and details surrounding this incident are unclear," the police department said in its Nov. 4 statement. "We encourage anyone with information related to this incident to contact the police department at (801) 840-4000 and reference case number #LK2025-32651."
