Even though both movies opened in the same range at the domestic box office, it's becoming abundantly clear that Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere is now A Complete Unknown . The two music biopics, focusing on a particular period in their subjects' lives, were also produced at roughly the same budget. However, they can hardly be compared in terms of box-office returns. While the Bob Dylan biopic emerged as a sleeper hit only a year ago, the Bruce Springsteen movie has all but flopped.
