A native of Belfountain, Ont. and a standout at Nipissing University for four seasons, Brooks signed on with Sudbury’s inaugural entry in the semi-pro loop and became the first player to score a goal in League2 play in a win over Pickering FC this past April. Article content Article content

She went on to record three braces and a hat trick, with highlights including the tying and winning markers in a 2-1 comeback victory over Simcoe County Rovers FC on July 5.
