NIXA, Mo. (KY3) - Multiple fire protection districts launched a community food drive to support families facing uncertainty around SNAP benefits.

Ozark and Nixa Fire Protection Districts are partnering with Ozark Citizens Fire Academy to benefit Least of These, the county’s food pantry.

Residents can drop off canned goods or shelf-stable items at their nearest fire station. The districts also accept monetary donations for those who prefer to support the effort financially.

Donation hours run from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekdays.
