Somerset may not be Telluride, Colorado or Cannes, France, when it comes to film festivals. But this weekend, it carves out a place for itself in that world with the Black Mountain Film Festival Coming to town.

Organized by non-profit organization PEAK, or Powering the Economy Through Arts in Kentucky, a group focused on growing the film industry in this region, the festival will take place Friday, November 7 through Sunday, November 9 at The Virginia Theater in downtown Somerset.
