The Youth Climate Action Summit took place at the Benson Centre on Tuesday.

This is the fifth year for the summit, organized by the Frontenac Arch Biosphere, but it’s the first time the event has been held in Cornwall.

According to Frontenac Arch Biosphere program coordinator Victoria Renner, the summit was attended by roughly 100 students from across Eastern Ontario. Renner also noted that while most students connected to the summit through their school, some were attending with extracurricular activities, such as local Scout groups.
