DENVER (KDVR) — The Denver Police Department is distributing free vehicle trackers for drivers who sign up online, according to a press release.

DPD is partnering with the Colorado Auto Theft Prevention Authority to give away free Bluetooth, AirTag and SmartTag trackers to Denver residents.

The trackers work with the DenverTrack program that has been used since 2023.

Police aren't able to monitor the live location of your vehicle, but if your vehicle is stolen, the tracker can be given to police, who will then be able to see the real-time location of the stolen vehicle.
