CHEYENNE – Following three sets of interviews, Cheyenne City Council Ward 1 members Pete Laybourn and Jeff White have agreed to recommend Lawrence "Larry" Wolfe to fill the seat left vacant by Ward 1 Councilman Scott Roybal, who died Sept. 24.
Wolfe was announced Tuesday as the choice following a panel-style interview Monday evening with the four finalists – David Cook, Maren Kallas, Tamara Trujillo and Wolfe – at the Kiwanis Community House in Lions Park.
Wolfe has been a Cheyenne resident since 1974. He graduated from the University of Wyoming College of Law with his doctorate in 1980, and immediately went to work in the Wyoming Attorney General’s Office as a senior assistant for five years.
