Roger G. Cardin, 84, of North Smithfield, passed away Nov. 2, 2025.

He was the loving husband of Denise (Pelletier) Cardin. Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Jerome and Florence (Desmarais) Cardin.

Mr. Cardin was an educator in the Woonsocket Education Department, teaching both elementary and middle school aged children. He earned his bachelors degree from Rhode Island College. Roger was a proud veteran, having served in the Air Force and over 20-plus years in the Army Reserves. He also volunteered for over 50 years at the Narragansett Council Scouting of America, an organization near and dear to his heart. Roger was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church, Slatersville.
